Farewell Pres. Cory Aquino

On August 1,2009 ,at the age of 76, former President Ma. Corazon "Cory" Aquino died. Every Filipino knows her because like her husband,the late Ninoy Aquino Jr., she's like the epitome of our country's freedom.

"Unity is a rare thing in our country; we have it now, and adding to the feelings of grief is the wistful realization that it took the passing of Cory to reunite a divided nation," the Philippine Daily Inquirer said in its Sunday editorial.

Condolence to her family and all the Filipino people.
