Transformers 2 is like the talk of the town this past few days so Jaja and I decided to watch this film. It was not a date but it was like a date. Hahaha. Obviously, we're both single.

Anyway,at first, I really didn't like this Transformers because I thought that it's a hardcore action pack film. But when I saw TFs 1, I fell in love with it. It is actually great! It made me crave for 2.

So we watched it! It's an awesome film. I think it's much hardcore and better than 1. I am so so into it! Lerve et!

It is actually a long video, like a mini film. For the first time, it has a story. I'm not into it but I like it because I really love the song itself. :]]

Alice in Wonderland : The Movie

I think all of us or if not, most of us, have seen the Alice in Wonderland by Disney. Now, it has the real thing, real people playing the fictional characters of the novel.

Anne Hathaway as the icy White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter with an oversized head as the Red Queen and Johnny Depp looking nuts as always as the pasty, ginger Mad Hatter.
Mia Wasikowska, 19, from Australia, will be playing Alice, who is much older in the film. The White Rabbit will be played by Michael Sheen.

This film is directed by Tim Burton and will be out on March 5, 2010. I don't know if I'm excited with this movie but I think this is a great one because it's directed by Tim Burton. :]

This is a tragic day for the entertainment industry because two of the most memorable showbiz people passed way.

The death of Farrah Fawcett was expected because everybody knows that she has a cancer but Michael Jackson's death is really a surprise. Donn messaged me that MJ is dead and I can't believe it at first but after I saw the news, I was so shocked. He died because of cardiac arrest. It's just so shocking. I'm not a fan of MJ but he's an icon and I know everybody is sad. Farrah on the other hand was a brave lady. She became an inspiration not only for those who have cancer but also for all of us.

I offer my sincere condolences to their children, family, friends and fans.

My Thomasian Life (UST)

This is from our Discussion Board in eleap and it's about our stay in the university, the University of Santo Tomas. Our post must be limited to 300 words and two paragraphs and that's what I made.

When I was in high school, I studied in a Dominican school, in Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Calamba, and since UST is also a Dominican school, I thought that it would be great for me to study here because I'm familiar on how Dominicans manage a school. My first two years here in UST was not consistent. I was in different sections every semester,as in every semester. For me it's a good thing because I met many new friends from different departments. I also experienced different teaching strategies of different professors. This enable me to adopt new study habits for quizzes and exams.

The first two years for me was also boring but when I became a third year student, I involved myself to different organizations. Up to now I am involved with ChES, I'm the current Membership Committee chair. I'm also involved with PIChE, I'm one of the Board of Representatives. I'm also the current ChE Commissioner for Engineering COMELEC. Since this is my last year here in UST, I thought that I have to create something good for myself, for the faculty and for the university. I am also happy that I chose ChE as my course because ChE people are so great and I am really proud to be one. :]

I have to say, I feel so great and blessed that I chose UST for my college life.In UST, I learned how to love and to hate, how to become a person and an individual, and to know many new things about myself. UST became a tool for me to become a better person and a beautiful individual. :]]

AH1N1 Fever!

Because of the suspension of classes due to confirmed cases of AH1N1 in the university, we decided to meet. How about going to Glorietta and ate at Sbarro.

I really missed these bitches: Jaja, Apes and Sarah. By the way, up to now I really don't know how to pronounce Sbarro. Hahaha.

AH1N1 in UST Faculty of Eng'g

To ALL FACULTY OF ENGINEERING STUDENTS:

Classes in the ROQUE-RUANO BLDG. (Eng'g and ICS) will be suspended from June 22 to June 27 due to a confirmed case of AH1N1.

The Building will be under quarantine during the said duration.

All Activities will be Postponed & Eng'g students who have PE classes are advised to just stay home. No Eng'g Student will be allowed to enter the building until June 27, 2009.

Regular classes for Eng'g and ICS will resume on June 29, 2009(for those who have classes ony Monday) and June 30,2009 (for all Students).

There are also confirmed cases in the Faculty of Medicine and College of Nursing. This AH1N1 is now contaminating the university. One of my friends said that there are a total of 11 cases in the whole university. She told me that she heard it from the CSC. I don't know if it's true but the case in the Faculty of Eng'g is so for real!

Many of the students have the same reactions : "Ano ba yan?No allowance for a week!", "Yeay!No classes!". This is a serious matter. I hope we have to think not only for ourselves but for the whole community. We should pray for those who are infected and for all of us not to be infected by this bitchy virus. Waaaah!

Our Last "First Day"

Our first day was so tiring but I had fun. I didn't expect that our schedule is actually OK. They said that we have the worst schedule than section B because we have a long free hours but I love it. Our morning class was from 10am - 1pm but we had no professor so we stayed at Donn's dorm, as the ever usual. Hahaha. He treated us to Wendy's. Thanks Donn, love you! :]

Then our next class in the afternoon was from 5pm - 7pm and we met our last 2 professors for the day. We met Ma'am Quinilitan and Sir Abet Laurito. I like Sir Abet, I thought that he's a terror prof but I was so so wrong. Our class with him was so funny and enjoy. Hahaha. But he extended his time so we had our dismissal at 7:30pm. After that, I attended our meeting for the membership drive of our organization. I went home at 9pm and I was so tired and hungry.

This school year is my last and hopefully we all graduate on time. This day is our last "first day" of school. I'm with these people for almost 4 years now and I know I'm going to miss them after we finish this school year. :[

Nakakaloka tong Katorse nato ha. Title pa lang nakaka-intriga na. Ay, obvious na green-minded eh no?! Hahaha. Well obviously, remake sya. Usong uso remake ngayon ha. Anyway, Katorse is a 1980 film directed by Joey Gosiengfiao and written by Toto Belano. Pinagbidahan sya nina Dina Bonnevie, Gabby Concepcion and Alfie Anido. Eto namang bagong Katorse, ang mga bida e sina Erich Gonzales, Ejay Falcon and Xian Lim.

At ang tagline ng original Katorse: She's a child, a woman and a mother at 14.
Nakakaloka no?! This Katorse show really fits the situation of our society nowadays. Daring sya pero interesting in a way, ata. Pero mukhang tiba tiba na naman ang PERVERT society nyan. Hahaha. Aabangan ko tong show nato. Hahahaha.

Yes or No to CONASS

As a Filipino citizen, syempre I am concerned about this issue about CONASS. Base from the news in the TV, ang pagkaka-alam ko dito sa CONASS na 'to e yung pagbabago ng Constitution ng Pinas. Sa pagkaka-alam ko ha, from Republic to Parliament ata yung mangyayari dito. Ewan ko kung tama sya pero yun. So kung magiging Parliamentary na ang Pinas, magiging Prime Minister na yung leader natin, so hindi na President. Parang sa Singapore ata sya tsaka Thailand. I read the letter from http://notoconass.com/ at ang sabi dun, magiging "Gloria Forever" ung Pinas. So it means, si Pres. GMA yung forever na naka-upo sa posisyon tsaka yung mga alipores nya.

May napanuod ako sa news, parang interview sya sa mga ordinary Filipino citizen, most of them sabi nila hindi sila pabor sa CONASS na yan. I'm not a political person pero base from what I observed with Malaysia and Singapore, may mga prime minister sila and OK naman yung mga bansang yun. For me, hindi naman siguro masama tong CONASS na 'to eh, ang magiging problema lang, yung mga uupo sa pwesto. The main problem of this country is CORRUPTION. Singapore is a small country pero it's like one of the first world countries. Singapore kasi is one of the least corrupt countries in the world. Malaysia on the other hand is not that great country pero it can sustain the needs of its people. Hindi rin kasi corrupt masyado ang Malaysia and natutugunan talaga nila yung mga basic needs ng bawat Malays like food, shelter and especially education.

Meron din silang mga binabayarang taxes pero talagang nilalaan nila yung mga taxes na yun for the good of their people. Nakikita talaga ng mga tao dun kung saan napupunta ang pera nila. Dito sa Pinas, hindi ka pa naipapanganak may tax kana, pero nakikita ba natin yung mga tax na binabayad natin kung saan napupunta? Siguro nga may nagagawa sila sa tax na yun pero lahat ba ng Pilipino may nahihita dun sa mga projects na yun? Hindi ko tinutuligsa ang gobyerno natin (WOW tuligsa?) pero yun ang totoo at yun ang napapansin ng karamihan sa atin diba?

Ang isa pang nakikita kong problema natin ay ang UNITY. Well watak watak kasi ang Pinas kaya ganon pero alam mo yung pag may mga activity, Luzon lang yung parang nakakaalam. Etong CONASS nato, for sure maraming lugar sa Pinas ang hindi aware dito sa issue nato. Sana lang kasi may pagkakaisa ang Pilipinas.

Pero at the end of the day, gobyerno at buong sangka-Pilipinohan pa rin ang dapat magtulong para mabago natong nangyayari sa bayan natin. I read a phrase from a book, hindi ko lang maalala kung saan book yun tsaka sinong nag-quote, sabi nya:

If there is LIFE, there is HOPE.

Buhay na buhay ang Pilipinas at for sure may PAG-ASA pa, nasa sa atin na lang yun kung gagamitin natin tong PAG-ASA nato to improve our country. MABUHAY ang PILIPINAS! :]

Back to NORMAL

After a not so long vacation, most of us, especially students like me, are back again to NORMAL.

For me, I'm here again in Manila and for the next few weeks, I know that I'll be the busiest gay in town. Hahaha. I have many things to accomplish as an officer of several organizations in our school. The classes will start next week, on Tuesday and this will be a haggard week for if not all, most of the officers like me. Oh well, I just have to enjoy this. But I'm not yet enrolled so I have to enroll myself first. Hahaha. We also have our thesis which will always be there for the whole year,I think. I'm so sure that this year will be the busiest of my whole college life in UST. Help me God and friends! :]

Actually, at first I really don't like this show because I thought that it's a stereotype of Teenage love story and it's a remake of Meteor Garden. I was so so wrong!

Yeah I know, I'm not in the loop with this one. Anyway, I've seen the first part of this show in a Singaporean local channel and I thought that it's not a great show but after seeing the next parts here in the Philippines, I fell in love with it. Hahaha. Especially with the boys. Hahaha. Actually it is really a remake of Meteor Garden but this one is more updated and the four boys fit the characters unlike the boys in Meteor Garden. They look older but the original F4 are better singers, I think. Hehehe.

I like this guy the most. He's so cute. :]

AH1N1 Virus in the Philippines

We have heard news from Diliman, let's now travel to Taft.

The news broke out on Wednesday that a Japanese exchange student in De La Salle Univerisity had a confirmed case of AH1N1 virus. However, according to INQUIRER.NET yesterday, the Department of Health (DOH) confirmed the second case of AH1N1 infection in the same University in Taft.

The total of H1n1 cases here in our country went up to 29.

These are not rumors but verified news.

Fellow Thomasians, we are not just encouraging you to be safe. And we are not just asking you to lend your prayers for the protection of our University and the people inside our campus. But we are also asking for you guys to pray for the University of the Philippines, De La Salle University, their students and even other campuses all throughout the Philippines.
